MY INTRODUCTION

Hi, i' m Roberta and here there's a little description of me. Let' s start saying that i' m seventeen years old and i attend the " Giuseppe Peano" school, in Rome. I study languages and i like all of them. I have a dog and a sister and, at the moment, i' m training in a gym.I' m a very creative person and i love every form of art, from painting to acting or dancing. I am a bit shy and sometimes people could think that i don' t care about anyone, but i know that i can express my emotions through the art or doing what i like the most. I' m a very determinate and constant person and i' d like to reach all of my dreams; one of these is to become an interpreter. I know that this is a bit impossible and, onestly, i think that it could never happen; but i love it and this has been my dream since i was 12, so i' ll do everything to do it. I' m not a dreamer and i am usually practical. My favourite country is Spain, i love spanish culture and spanish life, but my biggest dream is travelling around the world, especially in very far lands, like Japan, India or Russia, because i like discovering different cultures, food or lives. In fact, i can adapt in every situation and i don' t make me any problem. Furthermore, i like meeting new people, despite the shyness and i can say that if you know many people, you can learn much more from each experience than if you don' t.

My experience in Finland

Thanks to the Erasmus experience i have been to places that i' m sure i would never see. The trip was in Finland and it was an incredible experience! I have been with the best host ever and her family was so kind! I have learnt many things about their culture, their language and their history, but i have especially discovered that the prejudices about them are wrong. In fact they are not so cold as people say, but they are only different from us, but as nice as us. I have made new friends from Spain and i have learnt how to approach with the other cultures too. I have also seen the real Village of Santa and the Northern lights. Everything was perfect, people, landscapes will stay forever in my heart and i hope i will return there someday!

The experience in Rome

The Erasmus experience in Rome was a bit different but always beautiful. I have hosted a boy and we didn' t get on so well. But when we were greeting, i have understood that for both of us it was very sad and i would probably miss him. The experience was completely different, thanks to him i' ve been all the week to worry about someone and it was very good for me, especially 'cause sometimes i think to much of me. I' ve got on really well with the spanish and the czech and in general with everyone. We have laughed a lot and we have also cried much. For me was a pleasure to make other people discover my city and i' d like they to return to Rome as early as possible!
